Create a Hyperlink

Hyperlinks are a MUST

Hyperlinks in Marketing Documents and Emails are extremely important as they allow us to track if prospects are interested enough to take an action and click on the hyperlink.  The old adage actions speak loader than words is very true.  If they a prospect is clicking on hyperlinks they have interest.

How to Create a Text Hyperlink

• Use the onTrackCRM Visual Editor (Email or Marketing Document)
• Type your message in the Visual Editor

• Select the text you want to turn into a hyperlink

• Click the hyperlink icon on the toolbar
• Paste the URL for the destination website and click OK

• The selected is now a click-able hyper lin

• NOTE: In order to test your hyperlink while in Edit Mode in the Visual Editor, you will need to hold down the CTRL key and left click on the link.

How to Create an Image Hyperlink

Turning an Image into a click-able hyperlink is basically the same procedure as discussed above in Creating a Text Hyperlink.

• Type your message and then place the cursor where you want your image to be placed
• Click the Image Button icon  on the toolbar
• Place the URL for your online image in the URL field

• Now left click your mouse on the Image to select it
• Click the Hyperlink icon  on the toolbar to and past the destination URL into the dialog box

• The entire image is now a click-able hyperlink

• NOTE: In order to test your hyperlink while in Edit Mode in the Visual Editor, you will need to hold down the CTRL key and left click on the link.
